Pirate for school.
Then, more construction!

We’re not usually home anymore to see the garbage trucks, so that was a fun treat today. Campbell decided he wanted to be a sanitation worker (his words). So he and Dad got to work on the garbage truck, and Campbell even got to be one of the workers who rides on the back. 🙂
Later this afternoon, we went on another Sherlock Gnomes adventure. 🙂
This is one of the best days Campbell has ever had. David Cary came and brought Campbell a special David Cary & Company t-shirt. (Two in fact, since he brought us the next size also). Campbell has been wanting a shirt like the guys have. He was so excited and has not taken it off all day.
David has been so sweet about Campbell and wants to put him on the company Facebook page in the t-shirt to show off his new “worker.”
Dad and Campbell went on an adventure this morning. Campbell was an EMT, and Dad was the patient, who was hit by a car and later fell down while running. Campbell made him feel better. :).
And, more from Campbell’s perspective about the coronavirus.
Later, Dad and Campbell went on a pirate adventure looking for lost treasure.
Today, Campbell was supposed to draw a picture of a bear and take a selfie of it to send to his teachers. 🙂
Later, Dad and Campbell did more construction work. Dad found Campbell’s hammer. He was so excited!
Later this morning, Dad and Campbell went on a pirate excursion and got some great pictures. 🙂
And a video that is hilarious. 🙂
Dad and Campbell went on an adventure to investigate bad guys.

Campbell is obsessed with the movie Sherlock Gnomes. 🙂 Today, he wanted to be Sherlock, he wanted dad to be Watson, and mom was to be Moriarti. :). Campbell put on his cape to get dressed up, and mom found this cool hat that Pat Pat and Bing brought back from Scotland. What a perfect use for it. :). The neighborhood thought this was hilarious. Campbell and Dad would run and “catch” mom after she went a couple of blocks on the golf cart. We went all over London (London Bridge, London Park, London Gazebo, London Fountain, etc.). 🙂 Super cute. He was so excited.
Campbell woke up early and went downstairs before mom and dad were up to see what the Easter Bunny might have left. He found a note from the Easter Bunny on his chalkboard. There were 47 Easter eggs to find hidden around the living room, kitchen, hall, and dining room! Campbell came running upstairs to get dad to read it to him. He was so excited about the eggs and hunting!

The Easter Bunny brought a game, two small lego sets, and some books (along with favorite Easter candy). Campbell was super excited. But the best gift was a new construction vest! 🙂
Later, w
Later, we watched Frozen 2, and Campbell wanted to reenact the movie. 🙂
After nap, we opened an Easter gift from Pat Pat and Bing! Campbell was so excited for his cool fire Lego set!

And, later, Campbell wanted to write a thank you note to the Easter Bunny. All on his own and so sweet. 🙂

Surprise, surprise. More construction work. 🙂
And, more of Campbell’s musings on coronavirus and staying at home.
Later, we painted Easter eggs to hang in our window for a virtual Easter Egg Hunt in Harbor Town. Coloring inside the lines isn’t exactly Campbell’s forte, so mom and dad were shocked at how well Campbell painted!
Oh my goodness! This has been the most fun day! We had David Cary’s guys come to repair our upstairs pergola and to put a roof over it so it will stop rotting out every two years and needing to be fixed. Campbell had SUCH A BIG TIME being one of David Cary’s workers! I am not kidding – he spent 7 hours today on the lower porch working while the guys were working on the upper porch. This has been such a blessing for a time when we’re stuck at home with nothing to do. We got so many fun pictures. This is hilarious. We we even tried to get him to watch Frozen II during “nap” time today. He asked to turn it off after 30 minutes so he could go back outside to work.
Also, you may notice in the pictures that we went from not having a hat, to having a hat on straight, to having a hat on backwards. That was based entirely on what the workers were doing. Campbell wanted to be just like them. 🙂
Campbell also gave us three options (from the show Fixer Upper) for our upper deck. 🙂
Also, Campbell got to FaceTime with his friend Alex tonight. They had such a big time seeing each other and talking about what they’ve been up to.
Dad finally got a picture of Campbell’s face in his police outfit. Later, they were out collecting evidence. :). I have no idea how many times we’ve worn this outfit since Christmas, but it’s A LOT!
One of Campbell’s birthday presents was an Osmo. Little did we know how much we would need that! He loves to play the detective agency game! 🙂

Dad and Campbell were fixing the concrete around the neighborhood before school.
Later, Campbell got dressed up for National Air and Space Day:

Later, Campbell spontaneously started performing as the Day the Crayons Came Back. (Our principal read this book last week at school, and Campbell loved it).
Hilarious. 🙂 And, we have about a dozen of these. 🙂
Later, mom and Campbell went on a police route. He insists on wearing his hat this way! :).

And, later, we all went out on a route after dinner.
