Today was Campbell’s Christmas play and Christmas party at school.  Super cute.  He was one of the wise men.  Then they sang Christmas songs for everyone before the Christmas

Later, we went to Snowy Nights at Memphis Botanical Garden. He loves to play in the play houses and to play in the fake snow.

Later, we went to see the Christmas decorations at the Peabody and to eat downtown.   Campbell had so much fun wearing his rain gear and splashing in puddles.  🙂

Today was Campbell’s field trip to sing Christmas carols at the nursing home.  He was so excited to go and he loves to sing “we wish you a Merry Christmas” with the arm motions!

December 9, 2018

Today was the big day that we got to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus and the elves at Spring Creek.  Campbell was so cute.  He asked where the reindeer could park and what they would eat while they were there.

It was super cute.  We got a video and some cute pictures.  Then, we had fun playing with his cool gifts (3 Mr. Putter & Tabby books and a set of cars and trucks with cool trailers).  All in all, it was a huge success.

What was so fun about this is that Campbell walked up to Santa and asked why he was saying Ho Ho Ho?  Then Santa asked why Campbell had Santa on his shirt.  Then Santa didn’t know what to say to all that and just asked if Campbell wanted to sit in his lap.  They had a cute conversation, and Mrs. Claus commented on how smart Campbell was.  :).

He loved playing with his trucks and books.  I love that he loves books so much.

More bath fun this morning.

Later, since it’s been so rainy, we tried out letting Campbell play golf on the Wii.  He thought it was cool for a couple of minutes, and then gave up.  I guess we should be glad he doesn’t love video games…  🙂

Today, Campbell didn’t feel well when he woke up.  He did something I can only remember him doing one time since he’s been born – he fell asleep in our bed.  He woke up and wanted to snuggle and fell asleep on me for about an hour right after he woke up on the morning.  Thankfully, he perked up and felt better later in the day.

Heather came to babysit and took Campbell to the downtown parade while Mom and Dad watched the SEC championship game (which was more exciting than expected!).

Week of November 17 – 24, 2018

It’s Thanksgiving week, which has been eventful!  Campbell has been sick, and he got even sicker and needed to go to the ER.  Papa Doc, Dad, and I took him at midnight after he wouldn’t go to sleep.  He was inconsolable and said he couldn’t breathe.  It was really not like him.  We went to Baptist in the middle of the night, and they diagnosed him with RSV.  Apparently, that was what was causing the bronchiolitis.  We had another breathing treatment, and they prescribed a nebulizer for home, as well as some Rx cold medicine.  Thankfully, he perked up after another day or two.  We didn’t get home until 3:30 a.m., and he slept until 10 a.m.!  He really resisted the nebulizer but thankfully, we were able to try a liquid version of the albuterol that works almost as well.

We also went to a monster truck rally.

We also got to get a Christmas tree, set up the Christmas train, and played with Kim.

And, we got to play with the construction trucks across the street.

And, some family pictures.

And, some golf…
