Even though it is October, it is still shorts weather!  And Campbell loves to go to the park each night and even slide backwards.

Mom got to stay home with Campbell today because Mimi was home sick.  We had a great time going to the children’s museum, and Campbell even slept late, which helped mom get some work done.  CMOM was packed since it was a holiday, but C had fun anyway.

Later, we came home and had lunch and napped, and then Campbell work up and said “hurry up mom; go see men working on railroad track,.”  🙂

Today was the annual NICU reunion.  Campbell got to see some of his favorite nurses, ride Thomas the Train, play in the bounce house (“there are too many children”), eat lollipops, get his face painted, and go to the petting zoo.  He also especially loved playing in the ice cream truck.

It’s always wonderful to see the doctors and nurses and let them see how well Campbell is doing.

Today all Campbell wanted for breakfast was cocoa almond spread from Trader Joe’s.  I tried to get him to eat it on toast, but I was amazed by how messy he was willing to get to have it.  🙂

And, Campbell had a few things he wanted to say to Dad, like “have a seat” and “alabama.”  🙂  And, no, I didn’t put him up to it.  🙂

 

Campbell loves to go on walks around the neighborhood.  Especially if he can take his cars with him.  He’s completely obsessed with cars and car brands and wants to watch all the cars and say what brand they are.  He’s pretty good at land rovers, jeeps, hummers, and subarus, and he’s working on the others.

Mom and Campbell had a nice walk around the neighborhood, even when C wanted to stop and sit on various sidewalks and watch the cars.  The funniest part was when he pointed at the stop signs, and said “go to that intersection to see stop signs.”  I didn’t even know he knew the word intersection!

We got a few cute pictures after Gigi and Papa Doc took Campbell to church today.

We dropped dad off at the airport on the way back into town.  And, they came to pick up the golf cart to put lights on it so we can drive it after dark.  Unfortunately, it isn’t back yet, and Campbell didn’t exactly understand why he’s been without a golf cart for the last few days and that it still isn’t here when he got home.  He was actually pretty good, all things considered.

 

 

Campbell was a pretty good sport for the Ole Miss/Alabama game.  He ran around saying 7 to 0 (and not at my prompting!).  :).  Papa Doc only threatened to disinherit him once.  🙂

Before the game, they played Cuban dominoes!  Campbell loves to “match” dominoes (not that he actually knows which dominoes go together).

Later, dad got a cute selfie with Campbell.  🙂

Campbell loves to snuggle-buggle in bed in the mornings – especially when Dad is home too.

Believe it or not, this (lately) is a successful picture.  Successful = his face in the picture without crying or screaming and not blurry from him running away!

We got some cute pictures after church today.

Later, we went to the Children’s Museum on the way to the airport, but Campbell is really fighting taking pictures these days.  He does, however, love playing with the train table at the children’s museum.  Especially the “thomas” train.
