It’s dad’s second Father’s Day! We got some cute pictures to mark the day. I don’t think Campbell understood (thankfully) all the craziness of the USGA rules officials on the last day of the US Open. Poor Dustin Johnson!
And, Campbell is loving trying to feed himself. Mom and dad – not quite as much. 🙂
So, we were working on playing with the ball in his stand-up toy (if he puts the ball in the hole and pushes it down, it drops down a tube to the bottom of the toy). And, then I started trying to get him to “fetch” the ball as it went away. He thought this was absolutely hysterical as you can see here:
Also, he thinks it is hilarious to stick his fingers in your mouth and get them (gently) nibbled on. 🙂
Campbell is back home and being cute, as usual. :). We’re really starting to see him learn things so fast. He’s able to identify objects and retrieve some things he knows well if you ask for them (cup, school bus, ball, etc…). You can really tell he’s starting to understand things.

Then, Campbell got to go to the nursery at Gigi and Papa Doc’s church. 🙂 He looks snazzy in his cute outfit! And, thankfully he always seems to like new people.
Fun pics and a video from today. Campbell fell and hit his head on a toy, so has a little cut on his eye, but thankfully nothing to worry about – especially with Papa Doc there to see to him. 🙂
And, he’s really moving now – even running!
Campbell has been going by to see a neighbor’s cat each time they go out for a stroll. He thinks this guy looks an awful lot like Shamu and Jeeves. Apparently this cat runs up to play every time they go by. So cute. 🙂

Well, this is the last time that mom and dad will see Campbell until June 14. We’re off to the Galapagos. We did get a cute picture of him in his bedroom slippers this morning, and Gigi and Papa Doc promised to send us pictures while we’re gone.
Extra thanks to them for babysitting for 10 days! 🙂

Today, Campbell got a great visit with Pat Pat & Bing. He even got to take a bath at their condo, which was great so mom and dad could run some errands for the upcoming trip to the Galapagos!

Dad put up the new baby gate on the stairs today. And, just in time!
He didn’t get the zip ties on there right away, though, and you can see that it didn’t take Campbell long to find a way through!
And, dad got a cute video of him crawling before we left town. I don’t think he’s going to be crawling much longer!
