Campbell had a lot of fun sitting with Papa Doc. He kept telling him to move over and trying to push him off – as a joke. 🙂

Campbell wanted to ride his truck around the block while we waited to go to the airport to pick up dad, and he REALLY did not want to get in the car when it was time to go.
Also, Campbell is turning into a big boy now – at least judging by the smell of his feet…
Campbell had a night terror and started talking in his sleep. Our new baby cam shows clips, so here’s what happened.

Later, Campbell and I played soccer in the driveway. He always asks which team is going to win – the team in the blue (color Campbell’s wearing) shirt or the cyan (color mom is wearing) shirt. Yes, Campbell said my shirt was “cyan” colored, and he was right about the color. 🙂
More yard fun.

And, then fun playing with Campbell’s truck. He took mom’s keys and put them in the back, and then got really upset when I took them out to put them away. He said I was trying to “steal” them.
Also, Campbell said “get on your scooter and we’ll be there in a jiffy.” 🙂
Fun times doing yards around Harbor Town.
And, on Friday we had our parent-teacher conference. Obviously, potty training was a big topic. We still need to get that under control. And, unsurprisingly, doesn’t always follow directions. But, they said he had the best verbal skills of any kid they’d both ever taught in all their years. They also said he was great at sharing and doesn’t even get upset when other kids take his toys away. And, they said he was adjusting well and that he never cries. They also said that he thrives in the outdoor classroom and that he loves to dance. They also talked about how hilarious he is. They did say he was less mature than some of his other classmates, but he’s also one of the two youngest in the class, and I’m sure will get more mature during the year.
Today, Dad got to go with Campbell’s class on their field trip to the fire station. They were supposed to wear their Dandy Lion class t-shirts… Campebell’s will actually fit him when he is in 2nd grade…
I had it tied up in a knot but it came out before he got to school. But that didn’t stop him from going up to Ms. Sally and saying “look how cute I look.”
Later, Campbell and dad had fun with the road equipment trucks in harbor town.
Campbell has become a big dancer. His teachers sent us a cute video. (Unfortunately the best one didn’t record, but this one was pretty cute anyway).
We’ve noticed too that he’s getting even more into music and dancing. The other day we were getting ready for school, and the music was on downstairs (Campbell talks to Alexa now). And, she was playing something he didn’t want (she didn’t understand what Campbell was asking for). I found him downstairs standing on a stool in front of her saying, “Alexa, play the song that I like.” :). That song is Half Empty by Old Dominion, but Alexa didn’t know that! :). It was pretty funny.
Later that night, Dad’s plane was delayed so Campbell hung out with Keller and Cannon and William and got to drive Cannon’s super cool golf cart. It’s amazing how fast he went from not being able to drive at all to being pretty darn good at it. 🙂
We had fun watching the planes take off and land after we dropped dad off. And after a fun game weekend in Oxford.
What you can’t see is that we had a #1 accident about 30 seconds after taking this picture. I guess it was just too exciting to stop watching.

Fun times with dad in the morning. 🙂
Later, Campbell told us there was “Campbell Mason Lowe” and “Daddy Mason Lowe.”
Campbell loves the golf course. We can’t keep him away!
Campbell was so funny tonight. He put the “sink” from the kitchen he has upstairs on his head and he started calling it his “rain shield’ and telling me all about what it did. I kept trying to get him to say it again for the camera, but it was never as good as the first time. 🙂
Later, we went to Julie and Tracy’s and Campbell kept coming in and out of the potty, and finally he came out and told us that he had poo-pooed on the potty. He had flushed so I coudln’t tell that way, but there was some other evidence, so we had a big celebration. Hopefully, this is the start of something good!
I got to drive by myself to Memphis with Campbell. He didn’t really sleep very long – only about an hour. But he was actually really good in the car. He read books to himself and we sang songs and had a good time. Here’s a picture I tried to get of him reading.
