We got to take Campbell to the FedEx St. Jude WGC event at TPC Southwind today. It was so hot that he mostly wanted to eat Popsicles and sit under a tree. But he was a good sport and got to see McIlroy and Koepka among others. He even made an appearance on TV. They showed them walking from the practice area to the first tee. You could apparently hear him shout “let’s go Brooks Koepka” on the broadcast. He got a bid from Koepka, a thumbs up from Phil, and an autograph from Bryson DeChambeau.

Fun day!

Dad and Campbell went on a big bike ride today all the way to the gazebo by Ben’s Park. Campbell did great and rode safely and did a good job being careful of cars and intersections.:)

And, Campbell was sleeping halfway out of his bed so I had to get a picture!

Campbell had school at St. John’s today with a (very) short nap, followed by soccer in the super hot weather.  He had a great time, but passed out in the car on the way home.

July 12, 2019

Campbell has really gotten into riding his balance bike.  He’s doing really well with it!

We also tried to get some good pictures around the yard and the pond next door.

And, later more pool fun!  🙂

Today, we finally got to go in the back yard to see what Campbell has been up to with his swim lessons. We couldn’t believe what he did for his teacher – even though he hasn’t been willing to do it with us!Debra Stapleton is amazing. And, she had such nice things to say about Campbell. She said he was a “really neat kid” (in a way that you knew she meant it). She also told us she couldn’t believe his vocabulary and that you could tell that we actually talk to him. So that was all really cool too. :)Some action shots:

More tools and work fun.  🙂

Later, Campbell kept refusing to nap.  I finally lay down with him in Gigi’s bed, and he finally went to sleep.  It was so cute.  🙂

More fun “working” in the neighborhood with our cool sign.  And swimming.  Another good day at lessons, even though Campbell didn’t want to show us how he could swim.

July 8, 2019

Today was the first day of swimming lessons. Campbell did great. He went back without being scared, and the teachers told me he did an awesome job!

But, maybe more importantly, Campbell got to go with May and Lucy to visit Custom Products! They had the best time. I think this might be the best day of Campbell’s life! He got to see the whole sign-making business and how they do everything. It was so much fun. Campbell even got to keep a stop/slow sign! 🙂
