Fun selfie at golf. And, who knew one could play golf in mittens…
And, Campbell used the crayon and held it properly (sort of). 🙂 Baby steps!

We’re still working on potty training. We’re not all the way there – we’re trying to stay pantsless whenever we’re home, and when we’re not, we occasionally have an accident, but we’ve definitely made progress!
Campbell saw a vacuum truck today and had to get a picture. 🙂

And, it’s always fun to use the chainsaw to cut down the house. 🙂

We got the TV hung for the golf simulator. :). Campbell loved it. 🙂
Campbell loves his new shirt from the Galapagos. 🙂
Today, we saw a burning car on the way to school and Campbell wanted to play fireman! 🙂

More golf pictures:

Today we went downtown to get a haircut. Campbell had so much fun taking a trolley ride with dad while Terry cut my hair, and then we saw a cool fire truck.

We worked on cleaning out the garage so we could put up the golf simulator. Campbell was so excited and had been asking to get it set up. (It took us a while to rearrange the garage!).
Today, we tried again with the potty training. We didn’t have a lot of success and then had an accident later. But, we are still trying.
Later, I took Campbell to the Children’s Museum. He had such a fun time. Today, they were having a “New Year’s Eve” party. They had people making balloon animals and did a ball drop and had hair paint and face painting and glitter. For the first time he let them paint his face, but was so sad that they wouldn’t do a monster truck. He also let them spray paint in his hair. It was very crowded but we had a really fun time anyway.

Yesterday, we made it home after Christmas. Major props to dad for packing the car. He managed to get Becker (Campbell’s life-sized bear from Santa), the golf cart, and 95% of everything else we took with us or got as gifts in Jackson. There wasn’t an inch of spare space. I wish we had a picture.
Today, we restarted potty training. We hired a consultant to help us since we’re having so much trouble getting Campbell to go. She thinks he’s withholding and that it’s related to stress or anxiety, so we’re trying to help with that. He got a little out today, so we’re taking that as a positive for today.
Later, we had fun running around and playing with the cool dump truck form Aunt Lizzy.

Fun playing Campbell’s new favorite game “we don’t want any.” 🙂

Look what Santa left for Campbell. 🙂
And, what a fun morning with Campbell seeing what Santa brought. :). He even slept late and was so cute coming down the hall. He was so cute looking around and trying to figure out where all the loot might be. He looked in the living room, and in the dining room, and by the Christmas tree. I think he thought for a minute that Santa didn’t come… and then… :).
Fun outside playing with the golf cart and going to the “golf course.”
Finally, another favorite gift: a chainsaw! So fun that Antar (the yard guy) helped get this for Campbell.

Today is Christmas Eve. We had such a fun time baking cookies for Santa – he requested Christmas tree cookies with sprinkles when he met Campbell at Spring Creek. He also had so much fun picking which cookies to leave out for Santa. 🙂
Later, we tried for some family pictures, and Campbell got to see his big gift from Gigi and Papa Doc – a golf simulator that he is going to share with Dad. It was a big hit.
Later, we went to put out reindeer food that Campbell made at school and that Aunt Julie and Brannon made for him. Hopefully, it helps Santa find us in Jackson!
Lots of tries for a family picture of all the grandkids.
I will update these when I can figure out which ones are best.
Then, later fun opening a few early presents:

Everyone loves to build with Magna Tiles!
