Campbell is getting much more interested in his shape sorter toys and has even started trying to put the pieces in the holes.  And, he’s continuing to talk more.  And, he loves to drag everything around the house.

And, today, he found a comfy spot to play in his play yard with his stuffed dog floormat and mom.  🙂

Today, Campbell got to visit with Gigi and go to the park, got to hang out with Lamb-y, learned to make telephone calls with a “real” phone, and go to go out to supper at the Beauty Shop.

This weekend, Aunt Allison came to visit Campbell.  We had a nice visit and got a great pic!

And, Campbell got to go to the pool again (isn’t it great to have nice neighbors with a pool and a boat!), but he wasn’t in a very good mood so we didn’t get many good pictures.

Yesterday, we had developmental therapy and physical therapy and got good reports on both.  For DT, Campbell is vocalizing more, which is good.  We’re supposed to try to encourage that, work on baby sign language (more, please, all done), and repeat sounds to him when he makes them.  She got to hear him saying “go, go, go!”

And, for physical therapy, we worked on the same goals (going down stairs, bouncing, and doing the stairs).  And, she left a large exercise ball here for him to play with it this week.  He loves bouncing it around, and we’re also supposed to bounce him on top of it to help work with his balance.  I think we may  need to get one of our own!

Unfortunately, it’s been hard to get any pictures of this.  He smiles and loves it but won’t be still long enough for us to capture it!

Campbell is really getting into his turtle pull toy and figuring out what it’s actually supposed to do.  Here he is running around the house with it.  And, he’s harder and harder to take a clear picture of!

Also, today, Campbell got his second haircut from mom.  The first was just a little trim around the ears.  With dad’s help to hold Campbell (at least semi-still), we were able to trim the long part in the front and around his ears.  Dad said his haircut looks like Hitler, but I think he’s being unnecessarily harsh!  I thought it looked a lot better (not that you can tell here).

More fun cousin time and pictures.  🙂

Also, we had our first appointment with the physical therapist today.  It’s been a while, and we’ve missed each other with all of our travel.  She says Campbell is doing great and has caught up on his physical skills to 14 months (his corrected age).  Now she wants him to work on going down the stairs backwards (safely), bouncing (he doesn’t like to bend his legs very much), and navigating up and down the small back stair out to the porch.  This will help him with bending his legs.  She also thinks his feet are a little bit pronated, so she wants to have him evaluated for some inserts in his shoes that will help correct that and hopefully help with jumping, bouncing, etc.  I don’t think it’s very serious, but we will get it checked out.

Campbell had so much fun seeing his cousins and trying to get a cute family picture.  🙂

Today, we had to come back from being on vacation, but first we went to see Dr. Milam for an eye appointment with Campbell.  He got a great report, and here are some action shots.

Happy Independence Day!  C wasn’t very cooperative outside of the pool, but here’s what we got today.

Also, in the past day or so, Campbell has started standing up on his own in the middle of the floor without anyone or anything to use to help him stand up.  Yay – he’s getting so strong.

Also, you see him here with his “lambie.”  We brought it from Iceland, and in the past couple of days, he’s become very attached to it and his little frog bean bag toy.
