Today, mom and Campbell had so much fun! They were pouring a new concrete foundation for a patio down the street. The workers were so nice. They let Campbell use the trowel to smooth out the concrete, and they let him use the big leveler too. It was super fun… until he stepped into the wet concrete! :). Actually, they were super nice about it and helped him clean his boot (thank goodness we were wearing rubber rain boots!).

Later, Dad and Campbell did their own concrete work at Julie and Tracy’s old house.

And, of course, more heavy rescue. 🙂

Campbell was sad to see Gigi and Papa Doc go home today!

Today, Campbell was a paramedic helping people injured in car or bike crashes. And even snakes! Dad made a great patient. 🙂

Today, our neighbors continued with their fun Halloween decorations. Campbell loved seeing the skeletons and the hearse.

Later, we had to get some pictures for the NICU in our new NICU Awareness Month t-shirts!

Gigi and Papa Doc brought Campbell some silly mustaches. 🙂

And, Campbell and Gigi and Papa Doc had fun doing jobs around the neighborhood. This was Campbell installing street lights around the neighborhood.

Campbell and dad had a fun time today doing work at Mr. Dennis’s house across the street. He’s out of town because his washing machine flooded his wood floors. So, they put him up at a hotel (he chose in Florida!) while they repaired the damage. So, he offered for us to come over and do work on his porch while he was out of town. So nice of him! This was so helpful today with the rain! And, our sweet babies! 🙂

Campbell’s class studies a different artist each month. This month is Henri Matisse. His teacher dropped off the supplies to make the Matisse art projects on her way home, which was so nice. Campbell was so happy to see her and had so much fun doing these projects. 🙂

Later, more heavy rescue. It’s Campbell’s current favorite obsession.

Today was a fun day! We made the form for the volcano a few days ago, but today we erupted it several times. Super fun! And, we were movers and decorated for Halloween. (All it takes is for Campbell to see the first decoration somewhere else in the neighborhood, and then there’s no stopping him!). He even added his own stuffed animals to the decorations! 🙂 And, a sweet picture of our cats.

Today was a super fun and busy day. First, we went to the golf course. 🙂

Later, we got invited by Keller and Cannon to go fishing! Campbell had the best time with them. They caught about 85 fish! Seriously. And, Campbell even learned to cast himself. It was so fun! He loved talking to Landon and asked him all kinds of questions about what his job was. Landon said Campbell asked more questions than his kids ever had! Ha!

They are such sweet friends, and they play so well together!

Dad and Campbell did some construction and plumbing around the neighborhood between classes this morning.

Then, dad and Campbell were late for class at 10 – but for a good reason! There was an actual fire at one of the apartments. The fire trucks were there and Campbell was so excited. It was so funny when Campbell got on with his teacher. He said he was late because he was working on a fire. I thought he was telling a story until dad told me it was true. He was so excited and even went back after to see the burned out appliances!

Later, dad and Campbell did more jobs around the neighborhood!

Zootopia is a favorite movie right now. Campbell loves the scene when the Cheetah officer loses a donut under his chin! :).

Later, we went downtown to take out a pizza from Aldo’s. We found a picnic table far away from other people and ate outside. It was really fun and the closest we’ve come to really going out!

Mom and dad and Campbell got to do yard work this evening. Campbell has seen everyone starting to rake leaves, so that’s what he wanted to do. We even loaded them up into bags. 🙂

Then, more “job” pajamas! 🙂

Campbell’s Ant and Pest Control Company. This was after a really nice Terminix guy showed Campbell all the cool stuff on his truck after the visit!

And, we found the best pajamas for Campbell – job pajamas. We found doctor pajamas (and some others we’ll show off later)!

We have met a nice new neighbor – Derek – across the street. He’s doing some work at his house and has welcomed Campbell to come and help with the construction. He also loves to do work at Julie and Tracy’s house – at least as long as it is vacant.

Later, more yard work and making pizza!

This morning Campbell decided that he wanted to do demo. So we found all the empty boxes we could, and we built a wall to tear down. Over and over again. :). After tearing it down, we threw all the boxes out the front door and started all over again. And again. And again. He had so much fun making the “discovery” of a bathroom and bedroom that we didn’t know about when we bought the flip. 🙂

Later, we did a Sherlock Gnomes investigation! We couldn’t find Campbell’s usual Sherlock hat, but we found a decent substitute, we thought!

And, Campbell loves to write the sweetest notes. :).

There’s always something interesting happening in the neighborhood. Campbell always loves seeing the cool construction vehicles around.

Later, we worked on a fun project! We bought a craft class from a local business (to support during the pandemic), but we weren’t able to go in person. So, they made kits you could pick up. Today, we created the plaster to go around the cup to create the volcano and decorated the plate that it went on.

Today was a fun day. More heavy rescue this morning. (Campbell’s favorite show is still Highway Thru Hell, which is surprisingly interesting, even for grownups!).

Later, we went to Julie and Tracy’s and even got to take a ride around Harbor Town in the back of Tracy’s pickup truck! Campbell had THE BEST time! He even brought out all the cushions from Julie and Tracy’s porch to use for us to sit on!

Campbell had dad did some construction work at lots of different houses around the neighborhood and at the apartments.

Later, we went out to do some heavy rescue in very cold, icy conditions. We needed to “chain up” our tires. And, Campbell, (aka Jamie Davis) had to take rest in the back of the vehicle in his heavy coat before we went to do the rescue. 🙂 He’s got his heavy rescue gear in the truck, though, for when we have to do the recovery.

Today, mom and Campbell had fun doing yard work around the neighborhood while dad had class!

After class, Campbell and dad were “Danger Force!” (Campbell has seen a kid superhero show advertised on TV!)
