We went to walk-in hours this morning at Dr. Frizzell’s office. The doctor who saw is on GSL’s COVID committee, interestingly. She was super nice and prescribed us steroids and albuterol (too bad Campbell won’t use the nebulizer). She thinks it’s croup by sound, and the more she heard the more she recommended the steroids in addition to the albuterol. Thankfully, he doesn’t actually feel bad – he just sounds bad. She didn’t think it was necessary even to test for COVID, thankfully. Campbell also had so much fun dressing up to go to the doctor and doctoring on dad when we got home. Oh, and we weigh 44.8 pounds and are 3 feet, 8 inches tall.

Dad and Campbell went for a camping adventure today behind by Wolf Creek. Campbell stayed home today because he woke up in the middle of the night coughing and was coughing this morning before school. He felt okay and was just coughing for most of the day, but by the evening his cough was starting to sound worse and almost like he might have Croup with that barky sound. I almost took him to urgent care before bed because of the cough, but we had some albuterol from our last cough, so that helped get him through the night until we can go to the doctor in the morning.

Dad and Campbell went all around the neighborhood doing construction today. He wanted to wear his cowboy hat to work after seeing some of the other workers in the neighborhood wearing theirs. So cute this one.

Today, dad was the mystery reader at school. Campbell was so surprised and so excited. When Mrs. Horton gave the clues, Campbell guessed right away and said “I wasn’t expecting this!” Super cute. Dad read Doodleday!

Today was a super-fun day. First, Campbell got a new a new STEAM bin today at school. And, dad took Campbell and Keller to get ice cream at Crosstown after school.

Then, later, we went to play at the park and had a special surprise. There was a new little girl in the neighborhood we met yesterday – Anna. She’s staying with her grandparents while her parents are renovating their house. She came to play with Keller and Campbell and some of the other neighborhood kids at the park.

She was apparently quite taken with Campbell and how nice her was to her… She came with a special note for Campbell and one for the other friends there. 🙂

Later, Campbell decided to be a thief and stole the rug from our bedroom. We missed the moment with the camera, but it was so cute. 🙂

Happy Easter to Campbell!

Later, Campbell decided to set up a wonderful scene for mom on the front porch where we can play.

After that, we went to Spring Creek to see the Easter Bunny :). It was Easter Brunch, and we asked for an outside table. Fortunately, we were the only ones who wanted an outside table (which we thought was odd given the pandemic and given that it was gorgeous today!

After the Easter Bunny, we went to the range to hit some balls. Then, Campbell wanted to go down to the lodge that you can rent that has the fun practice area where you hit into barrels. The house was empty, so Campbell turned it into a place to hide Easter eggs for mom and dad to hunt. We did this for two hours, and he had so much fun. Then, he also wanted to do it in the back yard when we got home! He had such a fun and special day. Sweet boy!

It’s been a while since we’ve done a wreck. We had so much fun with a grocery store accident today. :).

Later, we did more jobs around the neighborhood, and mom and Campbell had fun playing in the grass at the entrance to the neighborhood.

Later, Bentley dropped off some fish for us. They took at the fish that everyone caught and cleaned some for us. So we had a delicious dinner from the fish we caught – and enough for the next two days.

Today was a super fun day. First, we did work at the construction site at the park across the street.

Then, later today, we got to go to the farm to go fishing for Keller’s birthday party. Campbell had the best time, and he was totally infatuated with our teacher from last year, Mimmie Fisher’s, daughter, Mary Elizabeth who is in third grade. :). He went on a “date” with her and told her how romantic the light was outside. And how they were going to get married. She was sweet and indulgent… :). And, they got to have an Easter Egg hunt too. What a great time!

After school today, Campbell invited Keller and Cannon to come work with him. They had so much fun! Campbell “surprised” them by going home to get the excavator. They all loved playing with it. Cannon asked if we had an extra safety vest and goggles. He had so much fun, and so did Campbell until he thought that Cannon wanted to be “the boss.” Then, we had a meltdown… 🙂

Today, after school, Campbell wanted to drive his truck to meet the trucks from Naturally Green at Ben’s Park. Unfortunately, by the time we got there, they were gone. Campbell was pretty bummed, but Dad brought a snack and we had a fun drive anyway. It was freezing, though, and Campbell even asked for my jacket to wear! Dad and Campbell did find some work to do at the park across the street, though, including some heavy equipment.

Later, we went on a police/scooter route.
