We had another donut party today!  🙂  So fun!  We even skipped the nap on purpose – for the first time we can ever remember.  He was pretty tired, but it was definitely worth it!

Campbell had so much fun “working” at Gigi’s house with Kim while we all went to Mobile for the wedding!  🙂

 

I saw Campbell really pedaling for the first time today.  🙂  Yay!

Today was the best day!  It was the 30th anniversary of Harbor Town, and we had a neighborhood party with a water slide.  Campbell had THE BEST TIME!

Today was a super-fun day.  Campbell snuggled with the (still nameless) kittens.

And, tonight was Cannon’s birthday party.  They had a slip ‘n slide, and a snow cone truck, and it was SO MUCH FUN!!  Campbell spent the entire night with his friends going down the slide.

I think today may have been the best day Campbell has EVER had.  They have been repaving some of the streets in harbor town, and Campbell and I went for a ride to check out all the vehicles and work.  We came across a dump truck with a flat tire.  He was waiting on a tow truck to come and change his tire (an 800 tire!).  His name was Damon, and he was SO nice to Campbell.  We spent an hour with him, and he played frisbee with Campbell (and decided he was SO smart!).  Campbell also helped him repair his truck.  It was so fun!  :).  They were so taken with him that even they were taking pictures of him because he was so cute!  🙂

No pictures to prove it, but we had some excitement at school today.  Campbell got stuck in his car seat, and I couldn’t get him out.  Thankfully, one of the teachers came out and helped!  She had trouble too, so we had to let him slide out after loosening the buckles.  Seems to be working okay again, but that was exciting!

They are pretty sweet to Campbell.

And, he had the sweetest idea tonight to read them a bedtime story.  All his idea and execution.  And pretty remarkable how chill the kittens are with him turning the pages like that!  This video is going to make my all-time-favorite list. 🙂

And, later, we went to play putt-putt.  Campbell doesn’t look very happy here, but we had a good time most of the time – until it was too hot after a while.  He even made a couple of holes-in-one!

They are fast friends already.  Jeeves has already adopted them, and we haven’t heard him hiss a single time!

Dad took Campbell to see the ducks at the Peabody while mom worked late!

It was a great day all around.  🙂

Then, later that night, we got kittens!  🙂   We’re still working on names, but they are 8 weeks old.  The black kitten is a boy, and the tiger cat is a girl.  They are super sweet!

Today was “meet the teachers” day at Grace-St. Luke’s for JK (4yo) and the first day of Orientation for mom!

We are so excited about our new teachers Mrs. Mimmie and Miss Haley.   They are awesome, and I know we’re going to have a great year.  Campbell was especially excited to see his best bud, Alex!

And, later, helping dad “finish” putting in the dishwasher. 🙂

Tonight, we were downtown to get Campbell’s hair cut.  One of the nice downtown patrol officers offered to let Campbell play with his hand cuffs.  :).  He was one happy kid.  🙂

This isn’t really about Campbell, but I have to give dad props here.  Mason installed a new dishwasher tonight.  And here’s the proof!  He did a great job!  He’s becoming super-handy!

Dad and Campbell went to a trampoline place today and had such a good time.  They even ran into Josh and Jenny Manley and all five of their kids.  Small world since they live in UAE!

Later, we had fun playing with Campbell’s excavator and his explorer jacket. 🙂  He’s super into dressing up these days!

Someone was in a super silly mood today.  🙂

First he put “makeup” (marker) on his face.  🙂

Then, he wanted to wear his baby hat.  🙂

Later, Campbell and Dad got to go to the Fire Museum – one of Campbell’s favorites!

And, tonight, Campbell was super silly doing tricks on the couch.  🙂
