Here’s Campbell playing in his “office.” He loves it !
And sitting in a restaurant high chair for the first time (he did great!).
And, modeling one of his Halloween costume options!
Today, Campbell met a lot two and four legged neighbors at a Harbor Town block party. You can see how much he likes petting this sweet puppy. (What you can’t see is how much he liked getting his face licked!)

And here’s Campbell celebrating his first (but hopefully not last) SEC football victory!
And, here he is enjoying food again!
Today, we took Campbell to his first pumpkin patch to get some cute pictures. We’re having a hard time narrowing these down – we thought they were pretty cute. 🙂
Mason’s up for father of the year for getting the shot instead of rescuing the baby. :). Thankfully, mom was there to catch him before he fell!
And, finally, here are a couple of shots of the first time dad fed Campbell solid food. On the plus side, it looks like he now likes sweet potatoes! 🙂
Campbell is always so happy in the mornings! 🙂
Unfortunately, Campbell is also a little sick. He’s had a runny nose and been sneezing a lot. I don’t think it’s serious – no fever or anything, but I can tell he’s extra tired and wanting to sleep more – aside from the runny nose. Here’s hoping he gets better very soon.
Last night, Campbell slept better. We put him down about 845, gave him a paci at 1:50, and he slept until about 5:30. That’s improvement, at least. Let’s hope the food is helping.
And, today, we had an appointment with the Memphis Hearing Center (Dr. Smith) to test Campbell’s hearing. He has to go every 6 months until he is 3. He got a great report yesterday. Here’s a pic of dad holding him during one of his tests:
You can see he isn’t too bothered. And, they thought he was so cute/good, they asked if they could take a picture of him to use. Of course we said yes!
Also, tonight was Campbell’s first night eating out at a restaurant in his high chair! He did great – we took peas with us, and he enjoyed eating and sitting outside!
Today, we continued on with new foods. He hasn’t had any dirty diapers in the past few days, and has been pretty fussy today, so we hoped that some baby homemade baby apples would help. He loved it!
And, later, he tried acorn squash, which he also loved. He had two full ice cubes of squash and acted like he would even have eaten more. And, he’s even starting to work on feeding himself!
And, last night, he slept all night for the first time since last week. Let’s hope we can figure out why and replicate!
Today, Campbell got to try some new things! First he got a little bit of mashed bananas this morning and really liked those!
And, later, he tried homemade sweet potatoes (with a touch of cinnamon). He did not like those at all! We’ll try again later and see if his opinion has changed. If not, I see this becoming a sweet potato thanksgiving casserole!
This picture pretty much sums up how he feels about dinner.
Today, Campbell got to see his only living great-grandparent. We got a nice picture with pop and with 4 generations in his cute farming outfit just:

And, later we got this cute pic.
And how cute and funny is his pointy little lip! 🙂 Dad thinks he looks like a turtle.
And, then he got to try homemade baby peas for dinner. He liked them too! 🙂 .
And, then he got to help mom play Cuban dominoes.
Today was a really big day! First, mom and Campbell got in some cute snuggles (even though the picture didn’t turn out that well).

And, more importantly, Campbell got to try solid food for the first time! We are in Jackson so Mason can play in a golf tournament, and Gigi made him homemade baby food. Today he tried butternut squash for the first food, and he seemed to really like it. He ate about 1 1/4 ice cubes worth of food, which I thought was pretty good for the first try. Here are some action shots.
