More beach fun!  Unlike our previous beach trips, we didn’t get to sleep in much!  So here are some early morning shots.

This pretty much sums up how Campbell feels about the sand. 🙂

And, later some sunset shots!  He still hates walking and touching the sand, but that definitely wasn’t true of the water.  We were only intending to take beach shots, but Campbell kept trying to run directly into the waves, and we had to keep going after him.  🙂

Campbell had another great day at the beach.  Just sorry it’s taken me so long to get these pictures up.  It was so hard to narrow them down (Mason’s getting so good with the camera) – I still have too many, but they were so great that I couldn’t choose!

We started out with an early morning trip to the beach.  Campbell hated the sand again and mostly didn’t want to walk in it.  But we did convince him to play with the sand toys by telling him he could “cook” with the toys on the beach.  Smart mom and dad.  🙂

What you can’t tell from this picture is that he hated the sand so much, that he stood in one spot and refused to move his feet. Still pretty cute to see him “cooking” on the beach.

Can you see him pointing to the sand on his leg? He was letting us know that he wanted us to clean it off!

We did manage to get him buried in the sand without too much complaint.

Then, we went to the pool after the beach and got a few cute pictures with dad.

Finally, we went for some sunset pictures.

Campbell got to do a lot of fun things at the beach today!

First we played on the balcony:

Then, Campbell got to play mini golf for the first time.  He wasn’t terribly interested and hardly wanted to touch the clubs at all – though he did like randomly throwing the balls in the water…

Next we went for a swim in the (thankfully heated) pool.

And more fun on the balcony!  Dad’s really getting great with the camera!

Later, we went out to the beach for some pictures and to show Campbell the waves and the sand.  He absolutely hated the sand on his feet and wanted us to carry him.  But he did love the waves and loved having them wash over his feet.

And, finally, he still loves bath time!

Campbell is ready to go on a trip to the beach.  🙂

And, we got to stop at Lala and Grumpy’s farm on the way to the beach.  He loved the trampoline and the animals.

Then, we got to take the ferry from Dauphin Island to Fort Morgan.  The water was really choppy, though, so Campbell (and mom and dad) didn’t enjoy it that much.

Campbell got to play in his car and with sidewalk chalk today.  He likes spring break!

Dad got to be home with Campbell today.  We are enjoying the great weather!  And, going farther afield to playgrounds with the new golf cart.

Campbell got a new toy today!  Pop’s golf cart was delivered, and since I was home with Campbell (he got Marie sick), we got to take it out for a spin.  🙂

He’s still under the weather, but the antibiotics are helping and he is feeling better.
