We went to the zoo this morning before the big showdown between undefeated Vandy and Alabama. (Too bad it didn’t live up to the hype!).
I also found some pictures on the big camera that I missed when doing these updates. So, go back to July 16, July 23, and August 27 for some new pictures on those days.
Still hard to get pictures. He was not pleased with the big camera being out, but dad managed to get at least one good picture and one fun one.
Campbell wanted to say Happy Birthday to Gigi!
Gigi came to babysit since Marie couldn’t be here this week. She and Campbell had a blast at the Children’s Museum. Especially with the train table.
He’s fighting pictures so much that it’s hard to get a good picture. He sees the camera or phone and says “no pictures” “take camera way” and “put phone in daddy pocket.” And, he gets mad and cries if you keep trying.
Dad got some fun pictures of mom and Campbell in their Alabama gear today. 🙂
And, what you may not at first realize from this picture is that Campbell is sweeping. He loves to sweep! We got Jeeves a new catnip toy at the Cooper Young Festival this morning, and he tore it open and all the catnip came out. Campbell wanted to help clean it up. 🙂
Dad and Campbell got to have fun at the Children’s Museum today while mom was at work.
He is super into trains these days – he loves playing with the train table at the children’s museum.
We almost always go to the big park in the evenings because Campbell loves to play there. Here he is having fun on the slide with dad. 🙂
Campbell fell on one of the cross ties at the big park last night and split his lip open. It bled a pretty good bit, but he was pretty good about it.
And, this picture is super blurry, but it’s really funny. When he got up from his nap, I was putting his play clothes back on, and he didn’t want to wear a shirt. He did, however, keep putting his hat on sideways. I kept trying to get a picture of it because it was hysterical, but he would not cooperate at all!
Campbell got to eat breakfast at Elwood’s Shack and go check out Lowe’s before going to the zoo and feeding the giraffes. Pretty good day!
Later, Campbell got to play with a bubble gun. He loved playing with it – until he realized it was wet and soapy, and then he completely freaked out and said “dry it off, dry it off.!” 🙂

Today, Campbell got to wear his Alabama jersey for the first game of the season.

Today Gigi and Papa Doc are coming, so Campbell is getting to wear his Eli jersey.
You can also see that he’s hard at work with one of his favorite things – playing with his cars and trucks. 🙂
And, later, they got to see him get a haircut! 🙂
Mom and Campbell went to the Children’s Museum today. Mimi was sick, so mom and Campbell got to play together today!
