Campbell dad worked another “job” today – this time as a fence repairman.  🙂

Later, we went on a pirate route!  Campbell loves dressing up!

And, we were all ready to go to bed when Julie and Tracy’s golf cart got delivered back after being repaired.  That definitely delayed bed by an hour so Campbell could repair the golf cart.  It needed 7 axles and 7 grand in repairs according to Campbell.  Tomorrow, he promised to work on Tracy’s edger.  It was hysterical.  And very hard to get good pictures in the dark!

Later, we had a big afternoon!  Last night we stopped by Academy Sports to pick up a new bike for Campbell!  A big-boy bike with training wheels!  (Once we are better at pedaling we will take those off, and I think it will be easy for him to pick it up, but we need to get more comfortable riding first).  They made it so easy.  It was all assembled for is, and all we had to do is pull up, tell them we were there and they came out and brought it to us all assembled and everything.  Win-Win!  Campbell’s best friend in the neighborhood, Keller, learned to ride without training wheels a couple of weeks ago, so when we can play together again, Campbell will want to be able to go and ride with him.

It’s also a good way to wear him out!  We’re using popsicles to bribe him at the moment!  🙂

At first he didn’t want to pedal, but then he started getting the hang of it.  His balance is pretty good, actually!

This afternoon we went to the golf course for the first time in a while.  They were doing course maintenance during the pandemic and only 9 holes were open, and the practice areas have been closed or limited.  But, we had a great time getting out.  Campbell wanted to play but also be a “ranger” so he went and walked the first two holes with us (first time ever).  He was pretty tired after that but had a great time.

Campbell wanted to be up and about early as a detective this morning, mid-day, and afternoon.  🙂

 

Campbell’s crew was back today to finish a few last minute details.  🙂

Today, Campbell was supposed to draw a picture of his favorite “landmark” in Memphis for school.  He painted “Mommy’s Work School.”  🙂  Sweet boy!

Later, Campbel had a new job.  Teaching dad’s class!  He did quite the job and made quite an impression.

Also, we had a pillow fight tonight and Campbell told me he was going to torment me.  :).  I asked what it meant, and he was pretty close, actually.  What an incredible vocabulary he has!

Campbell had a bit time today doing yard work and construction.  🙂  He has a new job every day.

Later, we finally got in interested in playing a new Osmo game!

I read somewhere that it was fun to use finger paint in the tub.  Campbell didn’t want to cooperate with a bath, so I used this idea to entice him.  It worked.  Unfortunately, the information about how easily it cleans up weren’t so accurate.  It wiped off the tile, but not so much for the grout….  Hopefully bleach will help.
