Campbell is really talking and copying everything – and developing his own little sense of humor. I don’t have any golf pictures from today, but we took Campbell out to play golf. The golf course has a 4-seater family golf cart that’s free for families to use after 4. So we’ve been going out a few times to take Campbell to play. He loves the four seater and does pretty well getting through 9 holes after work so long as we promise him chocolate ice cream afterwards.
Meanwhile he said a few funny things on the golf course today.
- Dad hit his shot on #6 into the water. I pointed out to Campbell where dad’s ball splashed in the water. I told him that dad would try to hit a better shot and avoid splashing in the water next time. He said “redic” (short for ridiculous, his favorite word). 🙂 As if it would be ridiculous that you would want to stay out of the water. It was super-cute.
- Campbell was eating his chocolate ice cream, and he tried to get dad to eat some. I told Campbell that dad couldn’t eat chocolate, and he said “redic.” 🙂 He also said “redic” when mom told him she couldn’t eat (read: hates) peanut butter.
It’s really cute to see his little personality coming out.
And, he is trying to drive the golf cart. (Apologies for all the stuff in our garage!).
