For those who are interested, this is what Campbell’s apnea monitor looks like.  This is relevant because it malfunctioned overnight.  Thankfully, not anything to do with Campbell, but it didn’t help mom and dad or Campbell get any rest. Apparently, the battery has gone bad, so it wouldn’t charge.  As a result, it went off every 1-2 minutes for 2 hours this morning before finally going off continuously for 30 minutes.  If you’ve never heard one of these things go off, it’s ear-piercingly loud.  (So loud that we thought we might need to take a bottle of wine and an apology note to all of our closest neighbors).  Hopefully, the new monitor will work better!
