Today we took Campbell for his first post-NICU visit to the eye doctor.  He got a great report.  His right eye looks great – we’ve progress to Zone 3, Stage 0.  His left is still Zone 2, Stage 0, so they want to check him again in 2-3 weeks to be sure everything is progressing.  I’m not looking forward to this visit.  Aside from having to wait over two hours to see the doctor, I had to hold him still while they inserted a speculum in his eye.  He screamed and it was awful.  He was fine immediately afterwards, but you hate watching it.

No pictures, but I don’t think anyone would have wanted to see it anyway!
