Campbell got to open some Valentine’s gifts from Pat-Pat & Bing today. 🙂

The ice is melting, but there was just enough cold to get a little more sledding in this morning. :).

Well, our power flashed on at 6 am and woke everyone up. Only to go back out 10 minutes later… This is definitely the longest we’ve ever been without power since we moved in in 2013. But, another fun day of playing in the ice around the neighborhood and doing our best to stay warm in the house.

Sledding

We were all set to go somewhere to spend the night with heat, but when we got home from sledding around 4 p.m., our power was back on! Yay! This is what our themostat looked like when we got home! We are lucky. Some people were without power for nearly a week after this storm!

Of course, we had to see about the crazy cart in the icy weather (especially since our driveway has largely thawed out!).
Well, today was exciting. We had a huge ice storm (biggest one in Memphis since the record 1994 storm). We got a ton of ice around our neighborhood and had a big time getting out in it. In the last two pictures, it was after 11pm, but eerily light. And you can tell that between the pictures with the street lights and then, the neighborhood lost electricity, which almost never happens in Harbor Town. Almost 200,000 people in the Memphis area are without electricity.

Campbell wanted to make dad’s birthday perfect. He had the best idea for dad for his birthday – new tools! :). And, dad let Campbell play with his real new drill! :). Later, dad had peanut butter pie to celebrate his birthday and dinner out at Second Line! 🙂

Campbell’s hat to celebrate the 100th day of school. :).

Campbell wants to read Harry Potter III every chance he gets! :).

Campbell loves the maker lab at school. :).

Campbell made this Happy Birthday video for Pat Pat. 🙂
Campbell and dad got to do some jobs and construction work on the porch after dad got home! Campbell was so happy to see him! Later, mom and Campbell made homemade cheese straws! 🙂 Yum! Kittens snuggled, and we rode the crazy cart (of course!)

Today was a holiday for MLK Day, and Campbell is starting to feel better! Yay!
Dad had to travel back to Virginia today, but we got to hang out and do jobs. And, we even tried to learn to ride a two-wheeled scooter! :). He doesn’t like it much yet, but he will!

More snow! Still under the weather. Didn’t stick too much, but Campbell had fun slinging the mud at dad (not so happy when he got it back on him!).

Still sick, and still creative. :). Keeping busy since still not able to go to school. Doing construction on the fort, tile work, building Harry Potter Legos, and Crazy Cart.

Fun on the police motorcycle from Santa. :).

And, fun with dad’s new fire pit! 🙂

Campbell still loves to do wrecks. 🙂

The crazy cart has been a great way to get outside and do something even when we aren’t feeling well.

Campbell is not feeling well. Thankfully, we had a negative COVID test, but the little guy isn’t feeling well.
They are always so sweet at the pediatrician when Dr. Lowe visits. :).

We tried to find some fun activities, like crazy cart and Sherlock Gnomes, in the neighborhood, but you can see that we don’t feel good. And, that we bit our lip. 🙁

Later, Campbell got to dress up and watch the national championship game with me. 🙂

Marshmallow fight. :). What a fun indoor idea for rainy/cold days. :).
The crazy cart is the best! Campbell loves this thing!

Campbell has been doing so much better with his handwriting. :). And, has many things to be thankful for. :). And, loves Peppermint the Elf on the shelf from Mrs. Benitone’s class.
