Today was the last day of the fall soccer season. The kids loved Coach Cameron!

And, Campbell continues to adore the kitties! 🙂
Mom and Campbell went on an evening golf cart ride and got a nice sunset picture by the river.

Campbell took his parents on a fun camping date, and he even read to us. He is so sweet, and I love how much he loves to read!
And, you guessed it – more heavy duty rescue!

Campbell is sometimes not that interested in golf these days, but we did get a few good drives in today!
Later, some heavy duty rescue.

Today, Campbell and his classmates visited “Joe the Ginko Tree” at school during science (iLab). They visit him regularly and see his leaves changing and drawing pictures of him.
Later, some of the nice people from the HOA brought Campbell the construction sign they had used at the pond. They saw how hard he was working. He was so very excited!

One of the main ways they teach the children to write is by having them make books. They create a cover and a title and write words and draw pictures related to the topics of their books. When they are finished, they get to read their books to the class. Today was Campbell’s day to present his book.

Campbell on the playground at school and doing “work” with the candy chute/pipe at the park.

More construction work on the cobblestones by the pond with Campbell’s jackhammer.

This morning, Campbell decided that we needed to make a castle outside and that I was the princess and he was the prince.

Also, Campbell agreed to trade most of his Halloween candy for a new Lego set. :). He loved the idea until he started missing his candy… 🙂
Later, we did construction work on the cobblestones at the pond!

It’s Halloween! Halloween is so much fun in Harbor Town – even during a pandemic. Thankfully, they went forward with trick-or-treating in the neighborhood. Not as many houses as usual participated, and there were lots of candy tubes, but it was a wonderful time. We even had COVID-19 pinata for the kids in the park beforehand. And, Campbell, and Keller, and Cannon had as much fun coming back to our house and putting candy down the chute for other kids as they did trick-or-treating themselves. And, Campbell got to dress up as a Zookeeper (Mason’s costume from when he was a kid) when he went to the Zoo with Pat-Pat and Bing this morning. :).

Today was a super-fun day. First, Campbell got to wear his costume and have a Halloween Party at school.

Later, Campbell was so excited about the note Mrs. Horton sent home for Halloween. He absolutely adores her!
Later, we went to Spring Creek with Courtney, Chris, Olivia, and Brooks Saunders for an outdoor, socially-distanced Halloween hay-ride and trick-or-treating. Olivia is one of Campbell’s friends from the PK Dandy Lion class at GSL. She’s at a different school now, but we’ve stayed in touch, and our kids love each other so much!

More heavy duty rescue. :). Campbell has added a new vehicle to the fleet.
