Dad got this really cute picture of Campbell today.  :).

Also, Campbell went to the zoo today, and he loved playing the drums.  🙂  The pictures aren’t great because he was kind of grumpy, but he still had fun!

One of Campbell’s new favorite things to do is to read catalogs, magazines, and brochures. Here’s a picture of mommy and Campbell reading magazines.  He’s getting really good at pointing to pictures of trucks, planes, boats, lions, and even a frigate bird and a ground horn bill.  He’s really soaking everything up and learning so much!

C likes hanging out in his elephant chair!  🙂

And, he’s been a little under the weather these last couple of weeks.  Running a low grade fever, and then on Monday night, he woke up inconsolable after going to bed.  So unlike him.  So we took him to the pediatrician and got him checked out.  He has a cold of some kind, but thankfully his ears are okay (I was worried he was in a lot of pain with an ear infection).  We did get height and weight, though.  32.5 inches tall and 24 pounds.  That’s 23% uncorrected height and 33% uncorrected weight.  And, that’s 61% corrected height and 51% corrected weight.

Hopefully he will start feeling better soon!

Campbell is also really communicating more with more words and sounds.  He’s saying “yay” when he means yes.  And, he’s spontaneously signing please (please can I have some ice cream, daddy :)).  And, he’s learned another sign – for eat/food.  (And he does it or either word).  It’s pretty cute.  And, you should see the gestures he makes to “wheels on the bus.”  He’s so cute.

 

 

Today, Pat Pat and Bing (and Gideon) came over to hand out candy on Halloween.  C figured out that the kids were getting something he wanted to have, so he got to try a few M&Ms.  Then we started faking him out with blueberries and he bought it!  But it was almost 90 degrees today, and I think he had fever and was too hot in his costume outside.  But we did get a few pictures and had fun!

Today we got to go to the pumpkin patch!  C is still a little under the weather, so he wasn’t super happy, but it was fun!
