Today, Marie took Campbell to the swing and got some cute pictures.  He really loves the swing.  🙂  (I don’t know why  he’s always wearing this outfit in our swing pictures – I swear we don’t plan that).

You can’t tell it from these pictures, but he’s really not been himself.  He’s had GI issues, and has been generally fussy.  I think it’s a combination of teething (we may have a third tooth coming in on the bottom) and after-effects from the vaccinations last week.  (Dr. Frizzell said some of them might last for a few days).  So we hope that’s all it is and not something more serious.

In other exciting news, Marie reports that Campbell has started saying Ma-Ma when he wakes up from his nap and lets her know that he wants out of the crib.  Mom hasn’t heard it yet, but hopefully soon!  :).

Today, we played with bubbles for the first time (he was interested but not so sure about that).

We also played on his new birthday toy – the walking toy.  He’s even starting to take a few steps here and there.  I’ve even seen him lean over from a standing position to try to pick something up off the floor.  And, he’s posing in his Spring Creek hat that dad got him, even though it’s too big for him.

We also tried for an afternoon nap in the crib.  He’s been napping exclusively in the crib for a week or so now (morning and afternoon).  But today, he wasn’t all that interested in taking an afternoon nap.  But you can see that he eventually did settle down… surely he can’t be comfortable there.  :).

And, another first – Campbell got to ride up front in the grocery cart.  Mostly he slouched over to the side, which everyone in the store thought was amusing – or child abuse.  I really did keep propping him back up.  :).
