Today Campbell is feeling much better.  He nursed and even wanted more milk after, and then he ate a good breakfast.  And, he did pretty well overnight, which surprised me given the day we had yesterday and how little he was able to eat.  He woke up for a little while around 2:30, but then he put himself back to sleep and slept until 6:45.  And, he played in the crib for a few minutes while I showered – our usual routine.  I was just surprised that he wasn’t starving when he woke up.

Here are a couple of pictures from this morning before work.

Oh, and a year ago this morning, I went to the hospital with bleeding and stayed for 3-4 days.  Hard to believe it’s been a year now since that happened!  We’re getting so close to C’s birthday!

Campbell enjoyed playing in his play yard this morning.  You can see he has a sippy cup with him.  We’re trying to get him to work on drinking from a cup.

But he didn’t enjoy eating his breakfast much, and that got worse over the course of the day.  He wouldn’t drink his milk (that’s never happened before!), and what little food he would eat seemed to go right through him, and it was clear his stomach was hurting. Fortunately, Marie was there to give him a lot of attention and take good care of him while I was at work.  Marie tried giving him some puffs in the afternoon, but he was so hungry that he shoved too many in his mouth, and she had to fish them out!  But when he ate, he was uncomfortable.  He would at least drink juice, so we had a good bit of juice and then went through our usual night-time routine.  He didn’t really want to go to bed after, though, and he really fussed and moved around the bed when I put him down.  Here’s where he finally conked out.  (You know I didn’t put him down that way!).
